In the early 60’s Shell Mex and BP opened two Computer Centres in Hemel Hempstead and Wythenshawe. Both Centres installed the then, revolutionary, LEO III machines and from 1963 to Brand Separation in 1974, staff in the two Centres worked closely together in what was at that time a rapidly developing Computing Service. Many staff served at both Centres, some, the author included, spending two periods in both.
The reunion is open to all staff who shared those times and this will be held on Saturday July 5th at the Abbey Hotel, Redditch www.theabbeyhotel.co.uk

.
There will be an informal Dinner on Saturday night and attendees will be free to enjoy the facilities of the hotel or just reminisce with former colleagues. A number of former staff have registered their interest but is not too late to advise Bryan Clarke on 01614565083 if you wish to be included.
While we wish the Reunion to be an informal affair we would like to be able to have on show photographs, memorabilia or even individual anectdotes. If I can receive these in advance at Bryan^groveblue.co.uk I will include them on the website. Some photographs already in my possession can be seen at on the Reunion Photos page and there are also some to be found along with other interesting information at the LEO COMPUTERS SOCIETY website at http://www.leo-computers.org.uk/
Photographs and other memorablia will appear on this site as they are received and authorised by their owners or authors.
