SHELL MEX AND BP COMPUTER CENTRES
REUNION OF STAFF INVOLVED 1962-1976
This site is dedicated to those employees of Shell Mex and BP Limited who were involved in the development, operation and support of Computing Services at Hemel Hempstead and Wythenshawe.
The first reunion held in July 2008 was attended by 56 people and we are preparing updates to the website to provide a report and photographs of the event.
A second reunion is planned for Saturday 29th September at The Abbey Hotel, Redditch. So far we have 41 people who have expressed an interest in attending and we are actively looking for more support. We are consultiong in the best way to publicise those who are attending but in the meantime more information can be obtained by contacting Bryan Clarke through the link below.
LEO celebrated it's 60th birthday on Friday 11th November 2011 and this was featured in the Telegraph. There was also an interview on the subject on the Today programme. Hear it at :-
